Another Custom Board Complete

We finished another custom stand up paddle board.  Now it's ready to ship off to it's new home.  The picture below is of the natural wood coloring and detail on the tail of the board just before fiber-glassing.

The pictures below are of the finished top and bottom decks of the board.  The customer added personalized graphics to make this stand up paddle board very unique.

Albany Box Company did an excellent job of packaging up the board and paddle with care for it's voyage to it's new home.  Both the stand up paddle board and paddle looked like they were suspended in air.  We can't wait to hear when they've arrived save and sound.

This One's a Keeper!

Here's a glimpse of a SUP we've been working on.  It made mostly of cedar like the majority of our boards but has a zebra wood stripe down the center on the top deck.

Can't wait to get this one fiberglassed and in the water!

We're working on a custom 10'6" paddle board right now.  The top deck is cut out and we're getting ready to start the bottom.  This board will also have a personalized logo on the bottom deck when it's done.

January on the Oregon Coast

We headed over to the coast today to check on some possible damage from the recent flooding.  The weather was amazing on the beach.  In the upper 50s with almost no wind.  A perfect day for hunting for treasures.  We discovered interesting shells, fossils, and driftwood pieces on our visit.

We had dressed warm expecting the typical cool, windy conditions.

There are always giant logs scattered along the beaches in Oregon.  Luckily for our daughter, a number of them had been pushed up far enough on the beach that we let her do a little exploring.  Around that log is where she found some of the more unique shells.

Too bad we didn't bring a board with us on this trip!
